Today I thought I’d beat the looming cyclone and spend a couple of hours revisiting and photographing one of Auckland’s more intriguing urban legends; The Three Witches (aka The Three Muses), situated in the stunning Auckland Domain.
We’ve written extensively about this statue, the local folklore, and the creepy stories that linger in the surrounding area and among the twisted trees at night.
It’s an eerie place to be as the night falls, that’s for sure.
