The Clocktower – University Of Auckland

The iconic Clocktower, is one of the many central city buildings connected to the University
of Auckland; previously housing the University’s Arts departments.
Built in 1926 by American architect R.A. Lippincott, who also designed the mighty Smith & Caughey’s building in Queen Street.
Visitors to the Clocktower building and students who spent time there mentioned eerie feelings of being followed or watched from the
darkness. Items are missing soon after being used, and the sound of hard-heeled footsteps running and murmuring voices are heard coming from the upper floors when the areas are locked after hours.

i did some more research on this place and i found that adjacent to the campus is symonds street cemtery dating back to 1840. the ausa university building was built in the late 1800’s, students say they felt sudden cold drafts, voices, and shadows gazing out the windows.
