Helensville Museum – Public Event (Plus Jenn’s Birthday celebration)- April 18th 2026

WOW! Another fun and successful public event, done and dusted at the Helensville Museum last night.
We had an awesome, mixed bunch of people who really got stuck in. From what we could see, quite a few were having genuinely powerful, maybe even life-changing experiences. Some arrived expecting very little, but left buzzing, excited by what had unfolded during their sessions.
Shadows were seen, Rempods and other trigger items and gadgets were being set off in unison. A couple of “touchings,” equipment mysteriously turning off, batteries draining, hair pulls, and those into the boards and dowsing rods were kept looking for answers too.
It’s always great when things actually happen at these events. For those of us who’ve been doing this a while, investigations can often be quiet, so when the energy picks up in a group setting, it’s fascinating to watch. There was one moment in particular that had Sam and I running through every possible explanation, and we still came up short. Especially when patterns began to form, and the responses felt like more than coincidence.
It was also Jenn’s birthday, so she got the full royal treatment: cake, gifts, and a proper sing-along.
We wrapped up a little after midnight. Once everyone had headed off, we cleaned up, then sat down for a bit of a chill and debrief. Around 2 a.m., we all turned in, each claiming a different building for a few hours’ sleep. Sean was in the courthouse, Sam was out in the Waitoki Schoolhouse, Jenn and Bella were in the other old school building, and I took Hedley House.
This morning, we packed up, locked everything down, and headed out for a well-earned breakfast and coffee.
Another awesome team weekend in the books.
Here is a selection of photos from last night, taken by the team. Feel free to tag yourselves and share them around. Also, if you have any interesting or fun photos of your own from the night, please post them in the comments.
Thanks everyone!
