Mark Wallbank with Rex Gilroy [Article from Mysterious Australia Magazine – June 2016]

On Monday 30th May 2016, I and renowned Australian Cryptozoologist and “Godfather of Yowie research” Rex Gilroy (RIP), headed out deep into the Kanangra Boyd National Park.

During this time we stumbled upon what might have been part of a mineralised skull.

I took the photo of Rex sitting on the ground holding the find just seconds after pulling it out of the ground, where it had sat hidden for a very long time. – Mark
