Massey Homestead investigation session

Last night, in celebration of National Ghost Hunting Day, the team decided to return to the Massey Homestead, a location we’ve visited a few times and found quite welcoming, possibly even active.

We last visited the Massey Homestead on July 25th this year, and a few intriguing incidents occurred.

Mainly in the Boardroom downstairs and based around a small and simple push-top trigger light that was being set off during our questioning, without being pushed on manually; something these lights aren’t designed to do. We also noted temperature, EMF (Electromagnetic field), and assorted atmospheric fluctuations during these times.

During an April 2014 visit, we witnessed a figure standing in a top-floor window, when all members were accounted for downstairs at the time.
This time round, we only had a couple of short light flashes occur in the Boardroom. They also didn’t seem to follow any patterns and didn’t really line up too accurately with the timing or the questions being asked.
In a small room downstairs, Barbara, Natasha and Aimee all experienced apparent ‘’touchings’’ and ice-cold bursts of air hitting their body and faces. On hearing of this, the rest of the team investigated the room. Mark confirmed that he, too, felt the cold blasts on his forehead, but only when standing in the doorway to the room. We were unable to find any draft sources in the area, and the activity lasted only briefly.
It wasn’t until we moved upstairs that it became a bit more interesting. At the end of the upstairs hallway is the room where we spotted the figure looking out the window during an investigation back in 2014. Today, the room is leased out to someone as office space, and we cannot get access. A little frustrating, as the room and the area directly outside the room seemed to be giving us quite the show last night!
It was around 12 midnight. As we sat on the comfy couches in the hallway, asking questions, we heard shuffling, tapping, furniture being dragged, and what might’ve been footsteps from the other side of the door.
At the same time, the trigger light responded on cue to our questioning, and the EDI data logger registered fluctuations in EMF levels and temperature, as well as drops in air pressure.
An interesting night that started off rather quiet and non-eventful, but ended with some interesting occurrences witnessed by the whole team.
Sam, Mark, Jess, Aimee, Natasha & Barbara.
