My one and only ghost story I have to tell. When me and my family went on holiday to Fiji one year, we stayed in the Shangri La Resort, built in 1971. All was going well and I never had any negative vibes from it at all, but the night before we left we had heard of a strange thing that had happened, that I still think about to this day.
I’ve never really believed in ghosts a whole lot and have never seen one with my own eyes. About four rooms down, on the second story of the hotel, we got talking to some of the cleaners. One of the rooms was completely shut off with ‘’No Access’’ signs all round it.
The cleaner had said that a couple left the hotel because they saw two “ghosts” flying super- fast around the room. The time was around midnight. The couple reported that cups and plates and other things were sent flying across the room as well. They left immediately after the incident. I’ve been back there since the incident and the room gave me bad vibes, almost like a lack of air.
They did re-open the room, but I’m 100% certain that the room is haunted.

Yes Definately haunted . We stayed in room 1 there in Jan 2020 for 5 days . And I found out through my wife’s family who are Fijian that a certain section of the hotel has been haunted since the 70’s . The 2nd day I was antagonised by something I could not explain as I didn’t believe in ghosts etc.. My son & wife were sleeping I didn’t want to wake them up through this whole thing . I put my mask on as I have sleep apnea switched off the tv then it all started felt like a force of 2 hands hitting the bottom near my feet & then again near my chest & then harder near my chest as of to really want to scare me off . I still didn’t believe this was happening so I put my light on my phone on & checked the windows were all shut & aircon was off . Then I checked to see if it was a gecko jumping on & off my bed . I even put my feet on my wife’s feet & hands on her arms to see if it was her . This went on for 3 hours until I realised there was a bad spirit in the room & my heart started to pop out of my chest never have I felt it pound so fast like this not even in a street fight etc.. I had to stop my heart beating so fast felt like I was going to have a heart attack cause all I could think of was scary movies I’ve watched & my legs being taken under the sheets & me thrown to the wall . I really didn’t know what to expect I would have rather seen a ghost than feel this thing touching & antagonising me . So all I could think of was to pray to God & Jesus I was frozen couldn’t move was just staring at the ceiling . Believe it or not after praying my heart stopped beating so fast & I felt at ease & fear had gone away . We still stayed in same room til our holiday was finished .Never happened again . One other thing happened thou me & my wife & son coming back from a dinner night I opened the door my son went in first with a step in & took a step straight back towards us he looked like he seen something could tell on his face . My son has Fragile x Syndrome like autism so he couldn’t explain to me what he seen . I approached the staff about all this & even manager they all lie & say it’s not haunted . I understand cause Fiji is a poor place they need their jobs if it ever got shut down it would hurt their pocket . I just feel sorry thou for an old lady or someone who has heart problems they wouldn’t be able to handle something like this .
