Catalina Hangar – West Auckland

During WW2, Hangars; large buildings built to house, store and maintain aircraft, were crucial to the Hobsonville Point Air Base. The ‘No 2’ Catalina Hangar, Built in 1934, housed the famous Catalina seaplanes.
